Know Your Peace

We will work for peace in our lives.
We will insist on respect for ourselves and for others.
We will watch out for each other.
We will not tolerate violence.
We will demonstrate acceptance for all.
We will listen and share.
This is how we work for peace.

That's a Good Question!

This kid at school keeps calling this other little guy names. He makes sure that there is a group around, and gets everybody laughing. I think it's creepy, but I don't know how to stop it. What should I do?
Standing up for others can be hard, but is always worthwhile. If you feel comfortable, when you see this happen you could tell the group that everybody has a right to respect. You could also make a little time to reassure the victim in private that there are good people, and some people just haven't learned how important it is to show respect to everyone.
